As of 31 October 2026, Rewalto counts 13,736 quick-commerce dark stores in India across 7 apps and 688 cities, seen delivering to 5,482 pin codes. Blinkit has 5,089, JioMart 3,126, Zepto 1,634, Flipkart Minutes 1,573, Swiggy Instamart 1,357, BigBasket 912 and DMart 45. Counts update weekly and each store lists the pin codes it serves.

## What counts as a dark store here

We find dark stores by checking which store each app assigns to a pin code, across every pin code we cover, every week. A store is counted once even when it serves many pin codes. A store we stop seeing is marked closed, not deleted. Map position is shown only when the app reveals it. Counts are what the apps show to shoppers, not figures from the companies. Delivery areas are not stores and are shown separately.
