## The short answer

Yes. You can get Zepto prices, stock and search results by pin code without running a scraper. Rewalto reads Zepto every day, keeps each record with its pin code and the time it was read, and sells the records through a dashboard, an API and an MCP server (preview). Credits pay only for what is delivered. Current coverage is below.

## What Rewalto holds for Zepto today

The figures in this block come straight from the Rewalto data catalogue and the dark-store map when the page is built. They are not written into the article, so they cannot go stale while the words stay the same.

The current pin codes, refresh and rate for Zepto are read from the Rewalto data catalogue each time this page is served. The [commerce data page](https://rewalto.com/data/commerce) lists them too.

The fields, sample rows and API call are on the [Zepto data by pin code](https://rewalto.com/data/commerce/zepto) page.

## What people usually want from Zepto data

The questions behind a Zepto scraper tend to be practical. Is our new pack live in Mumbai and Bengaluru, and in stock at the pin codes our distributor promised? What is a rival charging for the same size this week? When a shopper types the category name, how many of the first ten results are ours, and how many of those places did we pay for? How fast is a product selling down at a given dark store?

Every one of those is a question about a place and a moment. Zepto’s shelf is assembled by the dark store that serves the shopper’s address, so two pin codes in one city can show different prices, stock and search orders. An answer that leaves out the pin code or the time is an answer nobody can check later. That is the main thing a ready dataset gets right on your behalf.

## The Zepto datasets, and what each one answers

The readings Rewalto takes on Zepto feed several datasets. Each has its own entry in the [commerce data](https://rewalto.com/data/commerce) catalogue, with its status, its coverage and its rate.

- **Prices and stock by pin code:** selling price, MRP, discount and whether the product could be bought, per product, pin code and reading.
- **Share of search:** each brand’s share of the first ten results for a search term, per pin code and day, with the sponsored part where Zepto marks it.
- **Brand share of shelf:** how many of the listings read at a pin code belong to each brand, day by day.
- **Units left and units gone:** the units Zepto showed as left, and the units that went between readings, which is a lower bound on sales and never an estimate.
- **Dark stores:** the Zepto stores Rewalto’s weekly sweeps found, with the city and the pin codes each serves.

You do not have to take all of them. Most teams start with prices and stock at the pin codes they sell in, and add search or units once they know which question matters most.

## The upkeep you hand over

This guide does not explain how to collect from Zepto. It lists what any collection needs after the first run, because that is what a team takes on when it builds its own.

- A list of pin codes that stands for your market, and someone to keep it right as Zepto opens and closes dark stores.
- A way to notice a change to the app’s pages on the day it happens, rather than when a report looks odd a week later.
- A rule for a product that was not read, so it is never counted as out of stock.
- A way to recognise the same product when its title or pack changes, so a price series does not break in two.
- Storage that keeps every reading with its place and time, so any number can be traced.
- A clear owner for the question of whether the collection keeps to the terms of use of what it reads.

None of these is hard on its own. Together they are a standing job. With a dataset, the supplier carries that job and states its coverage and refresh where you can check them, and your team spends its time on what the data says.

## Search results without guessing what was paid for

Search is where a home-made Zepto collection most often goes wrong. A result list mixes organic and paid places, and the order changes by pin code and hour. Rewalto’s share-of-search records keep the search term, the pin code and the day with every figure, and record how much of a brand’s share sat in places Zepto marked as sponsored. Where an app shows no marker, the sponsored part is zero rather than a guess, and the catalogue says which apps show one.

Read the [guide to organic rank on Blinkit and Zepto](https://rewalto.com/guides/organic-rank-blinkit-zepto) before you compare a rank across days; it explains why a place in the results belongs to one search, one pin code and one moment.

## A worked example: is our pack winning search in Mumbai?

A personal-care brand wants to know how its shampoo shows up when Mumbai shoppers search for shampoo on Zepto. With a home-made collection, the team would have to choose addresses, run the searches at sensible hours, record the order of results and work out which places were paid for, every day, before it could even start to answer.

With the dataset, pick the Mumbai pin codes Rewalto holds for Zepto and read the share-of-search records for the search term over the last two weeks. Each record gives the brand’s share of the first ten places that day at that pin code, and how much of it was sponsored. If the share holds steady only where you are paying, that is a finding worth taking to the retail media plan. If it drops at the pin codes where the product is often out of stock, the price and stock records for the same days will show it.

Reading both datasets for the same pin codes and days is the point: the search answer and the stock answer come from the same readings, so they line up without any matching on your side.

## Questions to settle before you choose

- Which cities and pin codes does your decision depend on, and does the held list include them?
- Is the question about price and stock, about search, or about how fast a product sells down?
- Do you need history from before today, or only a reading of now?
- How often must the answer change: is a daily reading enough?
- Who in your team will read the result, and what would make it not good enough?

Write the answers down before you pick a route. They are the same questions any supplier, Rewalto included, should be able to answer about its own data.

## Getting the data: dashboard, API, agent

In the dashboard, pick Zepto, the pin codes and the days, see the cost and download the records. With the API, a key and the [data API documentation](https://rewalto.com/developers/docs/data) are enough to make a first read. The [command line and the MCP server (preview)](https://rewalto.com/developers/docs/cli-mcp) hand the same records to a script or an AI agent.

The rate is shown before a read runs. Reading the same records again within seven days is free and an empty answer costs nothing, so a narrow first question, such as one brand at five pin codes for a week, is a cheap way to see whether the data answers what you need.

## When building your own still makes sense

Build your own when the catalogue does not list what you need: a field Rewalto does not read, a pin code it cannot add, a refresh faster than daily at a fixed set of places, or a rule that only your systems may touch the source. In that case the upkeep above is the price of the answer, and it is worth planning for from the start.

Otherwise, start from the catalogue. If something you need is missing, tell us; it shapes what is read next, and you get a written answer rather than a promise.

## What the data cannot tell you

The records show what Zepto displayed at the pin codes and times read. They are not Zepto’s figures and not sales, and they say nothing about pin codes that were not read. Prices are as listed, before coupons, bank offers, membership prices and delivery fees. Rewalto has no relationship with Zepto.

## Questions

### Is there a Zepto API for product data?

Rewalto's API is not Zepto's own. Rewalto reads Zepto's public pages itself and sells the records through its API, dashboard and MCP server (preview). Rewalto has no relationship with Zepto.

### What Zepto data can I get by pin code?

Selling price, MRP, discount and stock for each product read at each pin code, with the time. Separate datasets cover Zepto search results, brand share of shelf, units left on the shelf and Zepto's dark stores.

### Does Rewalto mark sponsored results on Zepto?

Yes, where Zepto marks them. The share-of-search dataset records how much of a brand's place in the first ten results was sponsored, for the apps that show an ad marker, Zepto among them.

### Which pin codes are covered?

The pin codes Rewalto holds for Zepto, and the day they were measured, are read live onto this page from the catalogue. If yours is missing, ask for it through the catalogue.

### How is it priced?

In credits, only for records delivered, at the published rate shown on this page. A read that returns nothing costs nothing, and every account gets 1,000 free credits a month.

## Start with the question you need to answer

Check the current data catalogue, then review the coverage and dates against your question. The research in an older guide does not establish that a service is available today.
