## How to read it

Three claims, three shapes — never three colours, because the brand carries one chromatic hue and a true three-hue set would add tokens nothing else on the site uses.

- **Dark stores** — filled bubbles, sized by how many stores the census recorded for that city. A bigger bubble is more stores, never a bigger claim.
- **Cities** — ink rings at the centroid of the city’s own pin codes in the registry, not a gazetteer point.
- **Pin codes** — the fine dots underneath. A dot means we can read that pin code on request, not that we read it today.

A city or dark store with no registry pin codes stays off the map rather than getting an invented position — the caption above the filter says when that thins a layer out.
