# Digital shelf analytics, down to the pin code.

Was my product in stock, at what price, and is it listed, on each shopping app in each pin code, and can I prove it? Rewalto answers that for Indian quick commerce, marketplaces and D2C sites, with the source address and the time behind every reading.

## Price and how to buy

## The shelf is different in every pin code

On a quick-commerce app, what you can buy is decided by the dark store nearest you. The same product can be in stock in one pin code, sold out in the next, and cheaper on a second app. A national average, or a monthly report from head office, cannot see any of that.

So the usual first sign of a broken shelf is a sales dip or a call from a retailer, days after it happened. Analytics that stop at the app level tell you an app is unhealthy. They do not tell you which product, which city, or what to send to whom.

01 · Where

### Product, app, pin code

Every reading names the place it was taken, so a gap is a row you can act on.

02 · When

### The time of the reading

Prices and stock move inside a day, so each reading carries its time.

03 · Proof

### The source

The address we read, the time we read it and a fingerprint of what it said.

## How Rewalto does it

1. STEP 1

   ### You choose the shelf

Tell us your products, the apps that matter and the pin codes you sell in. We match your products to their listings on each app.
2. STEP 2

   ### We read it the way a shopper would

We read each retailer for each pin code, record price, MRP and stock, and keep the source address and the time it was read.
3. STEP 3

   ### You open the exceptions

Open the dashboard, download the file or use the API. Each reading keeps the address it came from.

## What your team opens

One screen for the products you track: how many listings were found, what share of stock checks found the product out of stock, and one row per app and pin code.

What we read today: Ajio, Amazon.in, Blinkit, DMart Ready, Flipkart, Swiggy Instamart, JioMart, Myntra, Nykaa, Purplle, Tata 1mg and Zepto.

The pin-code view: each row is an app and a pin code, with the share of checks that found the product in stock.

Sample data for an invented brand, not a live reading.

## What a row looks like

Each row keeps the product, app, pin code, selling price, MRP and stock together. These are real readings from pages we captured, under an invented brand name.

Example: shelf rows by app and pin code

| Product | App | Pin code | Price | MRP | Stock |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Sample Co Hydrating Face Wash, 100 ml | Blinkit | 400001 | ₹144 | ₹229 | In stock |
| Sample Co Vitamin C Face Wash, 100 ml | Blinkit | 400001 | ₹215 | ₹249 | In stock |
| Sample Co Daily Moisturiser, 100 ml | Zepto | 560001 | ₹167 | ₹199 | In stock |
| Sample Co Anti-Dandruff Hair Wash, 200 g | Tata 1mg | 110001 | ₹694 | ₹798 | In stock |

Real price, MRP and stock readings from captured retailer pages. The brand and product names are invented. Not a client's data.

## One product on one day

Listerine Cool Mint Mouthwash (250 ml) on 29 October 2026. Blinkit showed it in stock or low at 69 of the 89 pin codes we read that day, and out of stock at 20. We also track 22 pin codes with no reading that day, and they count as neither.

The price moved too. Blinkit sold it from ₹178 to ₹190, depending on the pin code, against an MRP of ₹220. Nykaa showed ₹189, PharmEasy ₹217.80 and Amazon.in ₹220.

Example: Three Blinkit pin codes, end of day

| Pin code | Stock | Units shown | Days out | Price | Read at (IST) |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 110025 | In stock | 6 | 0 | ₹178 | 29 Oct, 11:32 pm |
| 110017 | Out of stock | 0 | 2 | ₹178 | 29 Oct, 11:32 pm |
| 560001 | Out of stock | 0 | 3 | ₹178 | 29 Oct, 7:50 am |

110025 and 110017 are both in Delhi and were read within minutes of each other. A single product picked to show the shape of the data: this is not a review of the brand, and it shows what was on the shelf, not why.

## Questions it answers

Each one ends in a row and its source, not a score.

### Where are we out of stock?

The pin codes and apps where the page would not let a shopper buy the product, with how many checks each figure rests on.

### Who is cheaper, and by how much?

Selling price beside MRP for the same product on each app, so a deeper discount on one app is visible.

### Is it listed where we sell?

Whether each product has a live listing on each app and in each pin code, so a missing or delisted product shows up as a row.

## What we measure today, and where it is partial

Checked against the live record. Where a row says Partial, the page does not claim more than that.

What Rewalto measures today for this use case, and what is still in build

| What | Status today | What that means |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Selling price and MRP | Live | Read on every app we collect from. MRP is the price printed on the pack, and the gap is the discount. |
| Stock by pin code | Partial | Live where the page states availability. Some pages say nothing either way, and those rows show as not stated, never as out of stock. |
| Pin-code depth | Partial | Quick-commerce apps are read pin code by pin code, deepest on Blinkit. Marketplaces are mostly read without a pin code. The coverage figures below show today's numbers. |
| Position in search results | Live | Each record names the search term, the app, the pin code and the day. See [share of search](https://rewalto.com/solutions/share-of-search). |
| The source of each reading | Live | The address we read, the time and a fingerprint of what it said, kept with each reading. |
| Alerts when a shelf changes | Live | Delivered through Watches. The Free plan includes one weekly watch, and brand plans read every day and add a weekly report. |

## Questions before you start

What is digital shelf analytics?

It is the practice of checking what a shopper actually sees for your products on a retailer's app or site: whether the product is in stock, and what it costs against its MRP. Rewalto does this by pin code, because on a quick-commerce app the shelf is set by the nearest dark store.

Which apps and pin codes do you read?

The list on this page is read from our live record, so it changes as coverage grows. Blinkit is read in the most pin codes. Marketplaces such as Flipkart are mostly read without a pin code, and some apps are not collected yet. If your app or city is not covered we say so instead of estimating.

Is every stock reading a yes or a no?

No. Some pages do not say whether a product is in stock. We show those as not stated and never count them as out of stock, because treating a missing signal as a stockout would overstate the problem.

Do you show a shelf health score?

No. A single score hides the product, the app and the pin code that would tell your team what to do. Each row is a place and a moment, with its source behind it.

Will you tell me when something changes?

Yes. Price and stock alerts are live, delivered through Watches. The Free plan includes one weekly watch, and brand plans read every day and add a weekly report.

Can I see a sample before I pay?

Yes. Create a free account, with no card, for a free preview of 10 rows on every search, 1,000 credits a month and one weekly watch. The worked example on this page uses real, dated readings, and the shelf sample uses real readings under an invented brand name.
