Benchmark

See your own number next to brands like yours. Never anyone else's.

An opt-in trade: contribute your own figures and see them placed inside a band for brands like yours. Nobody outside that pool of contributors ever sees the band, and no figure from it is ever published.

Give-to-get, and nothing is shown until five brands give

You opt in by connecting the read connectors a metric needs and turning the benchmark switch on — a separate decision from connecting a connector itself, and off by default. From that point your brand’s spend, ROAS, CAC, AOV and conversion rate are eligible to join a cohort built from brands in your category. A band renders only once at least five distinct brands are in it; below that floor there is nothing to show anyone, including you.

Every metric is defined once, in one place — its window, its currency, its GST basis, and how a cancelled or returned order is treated — so a band is never a comparison of numbers that were never comparable to begin with. A brand whose data cannot meet a metric’s definition is left out of that metric’s cohort rather than approximated into it.

Will a competitor see my numbers?

No. You see your own figure placed inside a band — p25, p50, p75 — for brands like yours. Nobody sees a raw number that is not their own, not even us: a band is computed only when at least five distinct brands contribute, and only the brands inside that cohort ever see the band it produces.

Can I leave?

Yes, in one click, from the same consent switch that turned it on. Your rows are removed from the pool and the next month's close drops you from every band you were part of. Nothing about leaving requires a conversation with us.

Is it sold?

No, never — to anyone, in any form. Not to another brand, not to an agency, not as a research report. The bands exist for contributing brands to see their own position, and that is the only place they are shown.

Recomputed once a month, never mid-period

A period is the calendar month in IST. Bands recompute once, after the month closes — never mid-period, so a brand joining or leaving partway through changes nothing until the next close. That is deliberate: recomputing live would let someone watch a band move to infer who joined or left it, which is exactly the kind of leak a five-brand floor is supposed to close.

What is never stored or shown, to anyone

  • No minimum, maximum, mean, or count-below-floor — only the band itself, and only once five brands clear it.
  • No brand’s figure is recoverable from a band, including by joining or leaving to difference two readings — the month-boundary recompute is what closes that.
  • Nothing here is used against a brand that has not opted in, and nothing here is sold.
