Send enough context for a useful reply

For a data or research question

Include the question you need to answer, required fields, geography, period and preferred output. If the request concerns commerce, name the products or brands and relevant locations. Explain whether you need a single review or repeated observations so the scope can be discussed clearly.

For an integration question

Name the interface and environment you are using, the documented operation and the behaviour you expected. Include a request identifier when available. Keep API tokens, passwords, private customer records and other secrets out of the message.

For a question about existing content

Link the page or document and identify the specific statement or observation. If a reading appears out of date, include its source and date. This helps distinguish a correction to published material from a request for new research.
