How the score is built

Walt’s read

Walt is Rewalto’s AI analyst. A person at Rewalto checks every report before it is published.

Each card is one platform and one category for one month, scored the same way as every other brand. A card that misses a floor says why and shows no score.

Limitations

  • Public retail-surface collection only (rewalto-score-v1, docs/metrics.md §13); not a sales, market-share or search-rank measure.
  • Cards failing the evidence floor (3 products, 10 pincodes, 80% of calendar days/expected cell-days) are unscored, never zero.

Questions before you start

What is a Rewalto Score?

Rewalto's own monthly measure, out of 100, of how reliably a brand's products could be bought on one platform in one category, across the locations observed. Evidence coverage is shown separately.

How often does it update?

Once a month, in a new edition. Each product is read about once a day, never more often, and a card that misses the evidence floors is not scored and says why.

Is a Rewalto Score a ranking?

No. Platform and category pages list every covered brand alphabetically, each with its own score, and scores are never averaged across platforms. It is not a measure of brand quality or sales.

Notes

  1. Coverage shows how much was read. It is not a measure of the brand’s performance. Back
  2. The Rewalto Score is out of 100. It combines Availability (60%) and Distribution (40%), both shown on the card, and it describes how reliably these products could be bought across the locations observed on one platform in one category. It is not a grade, a rank, or a measure of brand quality or sales. Evidence coverage is shown separately. A card that misses the evidence floors is not scored, and says why. Every brand’s score uses the same formula and floors. It does not depend on whether a brand is a Rewalto customer, pays, joins, or asks for a correction. Back
