Yes. The free plan includes 1,000 API credits every month, for the API, MCP (preview) and CLI. Credits pay only for data actually delivered, so a run that delivers nothing costs nothing.

How do I see a price before paying?

PUT THE EVIDENCE TO WORK
Estimate the work before choosing credits
Count delivered data, not interface clicks
A search form, a prepared brief and an agent setup prompt are not themselves delivered data. Review the published rate or approved quote for the actual request. The unit matters: do not compare a per-record rate with a per-delivery quote without checking the scope and what counts as a delivery.
Review recurring costs separately
A watch or recurring report needs both a per-delivery cost and a monthly estimate before the first delivery. Check the cadence, record scope and approved ceiling together. An estimate depends on that scope; changing the sources, fields or frequency can require another review.
Reconcile delivery with the receipt
Keep the receipt with the result so you can compare the delivered work with the quote or published rate. A reserved credit ceiling is not a completed delivery. For account-level balance, expiry and usage, use the current API response rather than a total inferred from an old screen.
