Thinking of switching your shelf or price data tool?
Rewalto reads price, MRP and stock by pin code on Indian shopping apps and gives each figure a source: the page address, the time it was read and the text the figure came from. This page says how a switch works and what to compare. Every comparison is listed on the compare page.
How a switch works
- Step 1
Send us what you track today
The products, apps and pin codes your current tool covers. A spreadsheet or an export from that tool is enough. We match it to listings and tell you what we can and cannot read.
- Step 2
Run a 14-day look in parallel
Start on the Free plan, with no card: 1,000 credits a month and one weekly watch. Keep your current tool running and compare the same products over the same days.
- Step 3
Check the source of a number
For any figure that differs between the two, look at its source: the page address, the time it was read and the text the figure came from. That is the test that settles most disagreements between tools.
What to compare before you decide
Five questions that work on any vendor, Rewalto included.
- Which apps, cities and pin codes are read today, and can you show that list with a date?
- Is a reading for a pin code, a city or a state?
- How often is each app read, and how old can a reading be?
- Can you show the source of a number: the page address, the time it was read and the text it came from?
- What happens when a retailer changes its page: is the reading marked, or shown as normal?
Shelf, price and data tools
Every comparison is on the compare page, and each quotes the other company’s own website with the date we read it.
Not sure what a term means? The quick commerce glossary and the e-commerce glossary define each one with an Indian example.
Questions before you start
Can Rewalto import my history from another tool?
No. Rewalto starts its own record from its first reading of your products. Ask your current vendor for an export of your history and keep it, so you can compare the two records over the same days.
How do I start?
Create an account. It is free and needs no card, and it comes with 1,000 credits a month for the API, MCP (preview) and CLI, a free preview of 10 rows on every search and one weekly watch. The plans and what each includes are on the plans page.
Do I have to stop using my current tool first?
No. Running both for a few weeks over the same products and pin codes is the fairest way to compare them. Check that each reading names its pin code and its source.
Which comparison should I read first?
Read the page for the tool you use now. Each one quotes that company's own website, dated, beside what Rewalto does, and lists where the other tool is stronger.
Does this page compare prices?
No. A competitor's price is theirs to change and goes out of date without notice, so the comparison pages only compare what each company says its product does. Rewalto's own plans are on the plans page.
