How to sell on Blinkit, and 3 checks after you list

To sell on Blinkit, a brand or seller applies through Blinkit's own seller pages and is approved by Blinkit before products go live. Rewalto does not onboard sellers. What Rewalto shows is the shelf after you list: which pin codes show your product, at what price against MRP, and in what stock state.

Who decides whether you can sell on Blinkit

Blinkit does. A brand or seller applies through Blinkit's own seller pages, at seller.blinkit.com, and Blinkit decides who is approved, which products go live and on what terms. Rewalto is not part of that process: it does not onboard sellers, apply on anyone's behalf or speak for Blinkit. This guide sits with the other brand playbooks because the part a brand team can measure starts after the listing exists.

Questions about documents, GST, fees, commission, payment cycles and how long approval takes have one reliable answer: check Blinkit's seller page on the day you apply. Third-party guides to Blinkit registration disagree with each other on several of these points, and the terms can change. We could not read Blinkit's seller page with an automated reader when this guide was written, so we state none of those facts here rather than repeat a second-hand version.

What changes once your product is listed

Being approved and having a product page is not the same as being on the shelf. Blinkit delivers from small local stores, often called dark stores, each serving the pin codes around it. A shopper sees the range and the stock of the store that serves their address, not a national catalogue. So a product can be live in one part of a city, missing in another, and out of stock in a third, all on the same day.

That is why the useful questions after listing are local and dated. At this pin code, today, can a shopper find the product, can they add it to a basket, and what price do they see against the MRP printed on the pack? The three checks below answer those questions in that order. Each one is a reading of one pin code at one moment, so record the pin code and the time with every result.

Check 1: is the product listed at the pin codes that matter

Start with the pin codes where your buyers actually are: your distributor's delivery areas, the neighbourhoods your marketing targets, and any area a retail buyer has asked about. Search for the product on the app the way a shopper would, with the location set to that pin code, and note whether it appears at all.

The free pin code availability checker does this from dated readings: it shows, by app, whether a brand's products were listed and in stock at one pin code, and it says plainly when a pin code has not been read. A pin code with no reading is not the same as a product that is missing, and the guide on why not checked is not empty explains how to keep the two apart.

If the product is missing at a pin code where you expected it, the cause can be range, stock transfer or a store that has not received it yet. The shelf reading tells you where the gap is. It does not tell you why, and the guide on what changes from one pin code to the next covers how to read a gap without guessing at its cause.

Check 2: is it in stock where it is listed

A listing that shows but cannot be added to a basket sells nothing. On quick-commerce apps this state is common: the product page exists, and the store serving that pin code has none. Record listed and in stock as two separate facts, because a product that is listed but unavailable needs a different fix from one that is not listed at all.

Stock moves through the day as a store sells and is restocked, so one reading is a snapshot. Read the same pin codes at the same times on several days before calling something a pattern. The guide to listed but unavailable sets out how to measure that state and which gaps to chase first.

Check 3: what price a shopper sees against the MRP

The selling price on Blinkit is one pack, at one store, at one moment. It can differ from the price you agreed, from the price on another app and from the price at the next pin code. Compare it with the MRP on the pack, and record the pack size, because a different size can make two prices look comparable when they are not.

The free price and MRP parity checker compares a brand's selling price with MRP on each app, with the pin code and day of every reading. The guide to discount depth explains how to turn a price and an MRP into a discount you can compare across days and apps.

  • Listed: does the product appear at this pin code, on this app, today?
  • In stock: can a shopper add it to a basket, or is it shown as unavailable?
  • Price: what is the selling price against the MRP, for which pack size?
  • Record: the pin code, the app and the time of each reading, kept together.

After the three checks: search and the listing itself

Once the product is listed, in stock and priced as intended, the next question is whether shoppers find it. Search for the words a shopper would use for your category and note where your product appears, keeping paid and unpaid positions apart. The guide on organic rank on Blinkit and Zepto explains how to read those positions without mixing them up.

Read the listing as a shopper would, too: the title, pack size, images and MRP should match the pack in the box. A wrong pack size or an old image is easy to miss from inside a brand team and obvious to a shopper. The guide to running a digital shelf audit turns these checks into a repeated, dated routine.

Selling on Zepto and Swiggy Instamart as well

Each app runs its own onboarding, with its own seller pages and terms, so the application is a separate step for each one and the same rule applies: check that app's own seller page for documents, fees and timelines. Rewalto does not onboard sellers on any app.

The checks after listing are the same on every app. A product can be live and in stock on one app at a pin code and missing on another, so read all the apps you sell through at the same pin codes and the same times, and compare like with like.

How often to check, and what to keep

In the first weeks after a launch, check your key pin codes every day, because range and stock settle slowly across stores. After that, a weekly reading at fixed times is usually enough to spot a store that has dropped the product or a price that has drifted. Before a festival or a promotion, go back to daily.

Keep each reading as a dated record rather than a note that says it looked fine. A dated record lets you show a distributor or a retail buyer exactly which pin code, which app and which day a problem appeared, and whether it was fixed. To have the same reading repeated for you on a schedule, a Watch delivers it on the cadence you choose.

What Rewalto does, and what it does not

Rewalto reads public quick-commerce shelves and sells the readings as dated records: which products were listed at which pin codes, their stock state, and their price against MRP, each with the app, the pin code and the time. The free tools above show a part of that without an account.

Rewalto does not register sellers, negotiate terms, manage a seller account or set any platform rule. For anything about applying to sell, start and finish with the app's own seller page.

Common questions

Can I sell on Blinkit without GST?

Check Blinkit's own seller page for the current rules on GST and the other documents it asks for. Rewalto does not set them and does not state them here.

How much does Blinkit charge sellers?

Fees and commission are set by Blinkit and are not published by Rewalto. Check Blinkit's seller page for the terms that apply to your category when you apply.

Can I sell on Zepto or Swiggy Instamart too?

Each app has its own onboarding, so apply through each app's own seller pages. Rewalto reads all three shelves once your products are listed.

How do I know my product is live at my pin codes?

Check availability by pin code. Rewalto's free pin code availability checker shows listed and in-stock state where it has readings, and says when a pin code has not been read.

Does Rewalto help with Blinkit seller registration?

No. Rewalto does not onboard sellers or apply on anyone's behalf. It reads the shelf after you list: where your product shows, its stock state and its price against MRP.

Start with the question you need to answer

Check the current data catalogue, then review the coverage and dates against your question. The research in an older guide does not establish that a service is available today.
