Quick commerce analytics in India: what you can measure by pin code
Quick commerce analytics means measuring what a shopper sees on a quick-commerce app at one pin code and one moment: the price and MRP, whether the product is in stock, where it ranks in search, how fast delivery is promised and which dark store serves that pin code. Every figure Rewalto publishes carries the date it was read. The pieces below are grouped by the question they answer, and each one is dated and says where its figures come from.
What you can measure
| Measure | What it answers | On the data page |
|---|---|---|
| Price, MRP and stock by pin code | Is my product live, and at what price, at this pin code? | |
| Search rank and sponsored slots | Where does my product sit in app search, and which slots are paid? | |
| Delivery time by pin code | What delivery time does each app promise at a pin code? | |
| Dark stores and the pin codes they serve | Which store serves a pin code, and where are new ones opening? | |
| Assortment per dark store | What each store carries, adds and drops. |
What quick commerce analytics cannot tell you
- Sales, demand or market share. A shelf reading shows what a shopper saw, not what they bought.
- Whether a product is out of stock when a reading is missing. A missing reading is unknown.
- The checkout total. A shelf price is what a shopper saw at that pin code and time, not the price with fees.

Questions before you start
What is quick commerce analytics?
It is measuring what a quick-commerce app shows a shopper at one pin code and one time: price and MRP, stock, search rank, sponsored slots, promised delivery time and the dark store that serves the pin code. Because each pin code is served by one store, the same product can look different a few kilometres apart.
Why does quick commerce analytics have to be by pin code?
Each app sends a pin code to one dark store, and that store decides stock and often price. A national average hides the pin codes where a product is missing or priced differently.
What can quick commerce analytics not tell you?
Shelf readings do not show sales, demand or market share. A missing reading means unknown, not out of stock, and a shelf price is what a shopper saw, not the checkout total with fees.
How fresh is Rewalto's quick commerce data?
Each dataset shows how often it is read and the date of its last reading on its page. Price and stock by pin code is read daily, and the dark-store count is refreshed weekly.
Can I check one product at one pin code for free?
Yes. The free pin-code tool checks one brand at one pin code and says plainly when that pin code has no recent reading.
Can an AI agent read this data?
Yes, through the REST API, or over MCP (preview) at mcp.rewalto.com/mcp.
