Is your price where it should be, on every app?
Rewalto records the selling price and the MRP for each product on each shopping app and pin code, so you can see where a discount got deeper, where one app undercuts another, and check the source that shows it. It records what the page said. It does not read the offer behind it.
Price and how to buy
Your price is not one number
A product has an MRP printed on the pack and a selling price on each app. On quick commerce that price can differ by dark store, and a discount that is planned on one app can appear on another. By the time it shows up in a margin review, it has been live for days.
Checking by hand means opening every app in every pin code. Nobody does that every morning, so price problems are found by a retailer’s buyer or a customer, not by your team.
Price against MRP
How far below MRP each app sells the product, in each pin code.
The unusual one
A discount deeper than last week's, or than the same product on another app.
The source
The page address, the time it was read and the text the figure came from, ready to send to whoever owns that app.
How Rewalto does it
- STEP 1
You choose the products
Your products, and any competitor products you want beside them, on the apps and in the pin codes that matter.
- STEP 2
We read price and MRP
We open each retailer's page as a shopper would, record the selling price and the MRP, and keep the page address and the time.
- STEP 3
You review the exceptions
Sort by how far below MRP a product sits, compare apps for the same product, and check the source behind any row.
Selling price against MRP, from real readings
The shorter bar is what a shopper paid. The gap to the longer bar is the discount the app gave. These are real readings, so you can see the shape before you ask for your own.
The brand and product names are invented, and this is a capture, not a live reading.
Three price questions, and what a row looks like
Each finding names a product, an app and a pin code, and points to its source. The tables below are invented, to show the shape of what you would see.
Priced further below MRP than usual
A discount that deepens on one app and not another is worth a question before it becomes a margin conversation.
The row shows what the page said and when. Whether the offer was planned is for whoever set it to say.
| App | Pin code | Below MRP | Last week | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| App A | 110016 | 46.0% | 46.0% | Source |
| App B | 110016 | 27.5% | 12.0% | Source |
Invented data, to show the shape of the output.
One product, different prices in different pin codes
Dark stores price separately, so a national average hides the pin code where the product sells cheapest.
Each figure shows how many readings it rests on, so a thin one is not mistaken for a trend.
| City | Pin code | Below MRP | Readings | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mumbai | 400013 | 22.0% | 9 | Source |
| Pune | 411001 | 22.0% | 8 | Source |
| Bengaluru | 560001 | 31.0% | 6 | Source |
Invented data, to show the shape of the output.
A price that moved since the last reading
Where we hold earlier readings, a change can be dated. Where we do not, the series starts at the first reading and says so.
This shows that a price moved and when. It does not show which promotion moved it.
| App | Pin code | Earlier reading | Latest reading | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| App A | 110016 | 12 Sep | 26 Sep | Below MRP: 12% to 27% |
| App B | 110016 | 12 Sep | 26 Sep | No change |
Invented data, to show the shape of the output.
What you can send to a retailer
A row and its source, in place of a screenshot from somebody's phone.
For a key-account meeting
The products a retailer sells furthest below MRP, with the page and the time. Rewalto shows the price it read; what counts as too low is your call.
For your pricing owner
The week's biggest movers, by app and pin code, exported as a file for the Monday review.
For your analysts
The readings as a file with an evidence reference on every row, on the plans that include it.
What we measure today, and what is still in build
Checked against the live record. Where a row says Partial or In build, the page does not claim more than that.
| What | Status today | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Selling price and MRP | Live | Read on every app we collect from, by pin code where the app is pin-scoped. |
| Discount depth below MRP | Live | The gap between the two, per row. A missing MRP is shown as missing, never as a zero discount. |
| Price history | Partial | Back to the first reading we hold for each product. Where there is no earlier reading, the series starts at the first one. |
| Coupons, bank offers and banners | In build | Not captured today. We record the price the page showed, not the promotion behind it. |
| Price alerts | Live | Delivered through Watches, which brand plans include, with a weekly report. |

Questions before you start
What does pricing and promotion tracking cover?
We record the selling price and the MRP on each retailer's page, for each product, app and pin code, and show how deep the discount is. We do not read the offer itself: coupon codes, bank offers and banners are not captured today, so we can show that a price fell but not which promotion caused it.
Can you tell me why a price moved?
No. A reading shows what the page said at that moment. Whether it was your own promotion, the retailer's offer or a mistake is a question for whoever set it, and no reading can prove the reason.
Can you show a price above MRP?
No, and nobody will, because MRP is a legal ceiling in India. What is useful is how far below MRP a product sits, and whether that is deeper than usual or deeper than on another app.
Do you keep price history?
Where we hold earlier readings for a product, yes, so a change can be dated. Where we do not, we say so and start the series from the first reading. We never back-fill a price we did not read.
Will it alert me when a competitor cuts price?
Yes. Price alerts are live, delivered through Watches, which brand plans include, with a weekly report. Competitor products are read only if you choose them.
Can I try it on my own products?
Yes. Create a free account, with no card, and search any product for a free preview of 10 rows of its price and MRP. You get 1,000 credits a month, one weekly watch, and a plain statement of what we cannot read.
