Rewalto and Profound: which fits your shelf?

Profound sells software for tracking how AI assistants answer questions about a brand. Rewalto does a different job: it supplies data, price and stock readings by pin code on Indian shopping apps, to teams and to AI agents through an API and an MCP server (preview). Choose Profound to measure AI answers; choose Rewalto for the data itself.

Everything in the Profound column is quoted exactly from its public website and dated. We keep a saved copy of each Profound page we quote. No prices are compared.

Records Rewalto has already read from Indian shopping apps: prices, stock, search results and shelf data, each with its pin code and the time it was read. You read the data; you do not run or repair a scraper.

Questions to ask any vendor, including us

  1. Which assistants and which questions are asked, how often, and are the answers saved word for word?
  2. How is a brand counted as named or not named, and who checks that the count is right?
  3. Does it cover the questions Indian shoppers ask, and in which languages?
  4. What does it claim about causing an assistant to recommend you, and what does it say it cannot know?
  5. Ask Profound whether it covers the shopping questions Indian buyers ask, and whether answers are saved word for word.

Our own answers to the shelf questions are on the method page and the data coverage page. How the data reaches your app or AI agent is in the quick commerce API guide for India.

Questions before you start

What does Profound say it does?

Its home page, as we read it on 29 October 2026, says: “Multiply what you can accomplish with an AI Marketer trained on what consumers prompt, what agents cite, and the context only your teams have.” Ask Profound for its current scope.

Does Rewalto track what AI assistants say about my brand?

No. Rewalto sells data: price and stock readings on Indian shopping apps by pin code, and the same data for AI agents through its API and its MCP server (preview). To measure AI answers, use a tool built for that job.

Something on this page is wrong or out of date. What do I do?

Tell us through the contact page with the address of the page and what changed. Each statement about another company here is a quotation from its own website with the date we read it, so it can be out of date, and we will check the request and correct or explain in writing.
