The Monitors group of Rewalto's MCP server has 6 tools as of 8 November 2026, 6:27 pm IST. Each tool below shows what it returns, its credit cost, who can call it and its inputs, read live from Rewalto's public tool list.
Monitors (6 tools)
Monitors that run on a schedule within a spending limit you set.
create_watch
Draft a watch. Saves a watch (kind watch, with a frequency) or a saved search (kind search, none) as a DRAFT and estimates its cost. It spends nothing and reads nothing: the user activates it, confirming its cost ceilings once, on the watch's page. Needs an API key; answers for the key’s own organisation only.
Credit cost
Free; saves a record
Who can call it
API key or Sign in with Rewalto, permission data:read
Inputs
kind (string, optional): watch (refreshed on a schedule, the default) or search (refreshed by hand). One of: search, watch.
name (string, required): A name the user will recognise.
targets (list of object, required): 1 to 10 things to look up.
maxResults (integer, optional): The most listings one refresh reads per target (default 50); bounds the cost ceiling.
frequency (object, optional): How often a watch refreshes. A search (kind search) has none.
spendingLimit (object, required): The most credits one refresh, and all refreshes in an IST month, may charge, as the user chose them.
notify (list of object, optional): Where the watch sends what changed (default in-app only).
idempotencyKey (string, optional): Optional: your own unique key (8 to 128 letters, digits . _ : -). Sending it again returns the same record instead of a second one. One is made when left out.
get_watch
A saved search or watch. One saved search or watch: its targets, frequency, caps, state, cost and its last refresh with the change summary. For a page "watch:<id>", call this first. Free. Needs an API key; answers for the key’s own organisation only.

Inputs
id (string, required): The saved search id.
list_watch_runs
A watch’s refreshes. One saved search’s refreshes, newest first: each one’s state (or why it was skipped), what it charged and what changed since the one before. Use it to explain a watch's last check. Free. Needs an API key; answers for the key’s own organisation only.

limit (string, optional): At most this many rows (the API caps it).
cursor (string, optional): The `next` cursor from the previous page.
list_watches
Saved searches and watches. The organisation’s saved searches and watches, newest first: each one’s state (draft, active, paused, cancelled), cost ceilings, next refresh and last refresh with what changed. Free. Needs an API key; answers for the key’s own organisation only.

Inputs
limit (string, optional): At most this many rows (the API caps it).
cursor (string, optional): The `next` cursor from the previous page.
kind (string, optional): Only searches or only watches. One of: search, watch.
refresh_watch
Refresh a watch now. Refreshes one ACTIVE saved search or watch now: reads each target and is charged like a listings read, never above its per-refresh cap or what is left of its monthly cap (rows are cut to fit). A draft or paused one is recorded as skipped and charges nothing. Needs an API key; answers for the key’s own organisation only.
Credit cost
May spend credits, only for data delivered
Who can call it
API key or Sign in with Rewalto, permission tools:run

id (string, required): The saved search id.
idempotencyKey (string, optional): Optional: your own unique key (8 to 128 letters, digits . _ : -). Sending it again returns the same record instead of a second one. One is made when left out.
update_watch
Change a watch. Changes a saved search or watch. Changing its targets, rows per target, frequency or caps returns an active one to draft (the user confirms the new cost on its page); a name or notify change does not. Spends nothing. Needs an API key; answers for the key’s own organisation only.

How the tools charge
Each tool is one call to the Rewalto API, with the same permissions, credit rates and quote and approval steps as the API, the CLI and the dashboard. Calling the tool list is free and needs no key. A tool marked as spending credits charges only for data delivered, at the published rate, and each answer says what it charged. A run that delivers nothing costs nothing. See pricing and credits and receipts.
